For Brent Babb, being a financial advisor is about leaving things better than he finds them. The industry took notice - Brent has been listed as Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2019 - 2025. He was also named a Platinum Council Advisor from 2012-2025. Brent began his practice with Wachovia Securities in 1998 which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. After 24 years, he pioneered 1670 Wealth Management in 2023 with Jeremy Bishop (Managing Partner). Brent earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with honors from Clemson University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.

Without question, the most important thing to Brent is his family.  He enjoys spending time with them either at home, traveling, hiking, or on the golf course. A lifelong resident of Spartanburg County, he’s committed to giving back to the community. He sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is active in his church. Outside of that, Brent enjoys running, with a few half-marathons under his belt, and he loves following his beloved Clemson Tigers in all sports!

Jeremy built his proficiencies throughout a nearly 20-year career at Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors before pioneering 1670 Wealth Management to have the freedom to offer flexible, independent advice. He backs this up with a degree from Wofford College and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, which gives him a truly holistic approach when designing tailored investment plans for his clients.

Having been born and lived in Spartanburg his whole life, Jeremy has a special heart for his community. In addition to being a devoted husband to his wife Beth and a loving father to his two kids, Callie and Jackson, he sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is active in his church. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, running, and playing golf.

As the Client Associate at 1670 Wealth Management, Natalie Barry is the dependable, calm force that provides an exceptional client experience while streamlining operations for Brent & Jeremy. Natalie’s passion for constant self-improvement is only matched by her desire to truly help those she serves.

Throughout her decade of experience in financial services at places like Wells Fargo and Bank of America, Natalie developed a cooperative, focused approach that helps clients adapt to whatever market situation they find themselves in. She backs up her experience with a BA in Business from the University of Northern Florida.

Natalie has a great heart for suffering animals, which is why she’s a devoted supporter of the Humane Society. She also has a great heart for the outdoors. When not working, you’ll find Natalie exploring nature on a hike, playing hard on the tennis court, or puttering around her garden!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Abbey, and our dog, Toby. I also enjoy hunting, playing golf, watching sports, and reading. These activities keep me grounded and reflect my appreciation for discipline, focus, and continual growth.
